If you’ve been on my list for a while, you know me first and foremost for my Feng Shui work.
So you may be wondering… “What’s up with the new look and business direction?”
Let me pull out my soap-box and tell you . . .
While I still think Feng Shui is one of the #1 BEST ways to flip your life upside down and kick your Soul’s mission into high-gear — generally speaking, I’ve found 3 things to be majorly frustrating:
1. People saying they want change (but really don’t):
I can’t tell you how many people I’ve met who profess to want deep, meaningful, lasting change — but when I tell them my design suggestions they shut down, get defensive or question my insights.
“Do I REALLY have to paint THAT color on the walls?”
“Do I REALLY have to take down that painting?”
Without working with women diligently for weeks, months (or longer) it’s easy for you to fall right back into your rut . . . and blaming Feng Shui for it.
2. People who want to stay on the surface (vs. going deep):
I hate to say this, but there are some lousy practices going on in the Feng Shui community. And many people have a dumbed-down idea of what Feng Shui truly is – filling it with superstition, surface-y details and super-spooky information.
Often when I’m working with newbies (usually those who’ve read far too many feng shui books) they’re surprised with how deep my suggestions often go – and how much FUN the process actually can be!
But I still hear a whole lot of:
“Can’t I just hang a crystal here instead?”
Or . . .
“Isn’t this a BAD color for this part of my house?”
Gag-a-rama.
You may be one of those people who thinks that powerful Feng Shui impact comes from doing small, superficial shifts – which I personally don’t buy for a moment. While tiny trinkets can bring you tiny, fleeting results – if you want to change the deep-down messages and energy embedded throughout your entire home, you’re going to have to change more than a pillow or a plant.
3. People don’t value the investment:
Last, but not least, with the economy shifting as it is, I find that many women either:
A. Don’t grasp the real depth of what Feng Shui can do.
Or:
B. Are unwilling to invest in themselves and the process.
Or both.
If you’re looking for the easy way out – just reading books, buying programs, but never take the big leap to working 1-on-1 with a highly trained professional – I guarantee you’re missing out.
As I’ve said time and time again: you simply can’t do your own Feng Shui (or any other self-transformation). When you do, you’re left with minimal results, if any. So unless I can work with you 1-on-1 you likely will find it pretty tough to use Feng Shui effectively.
Show me 1 successful person who’s gotten there all by themselves — without a teacher, mentor or coach. Lasting transformation requires private mentoring and guidance — there’s no way around this all-too-true fact.
So, while I’m STILL doing Feng Shui (and always will), I’m merging all the many outstanding tools and training I’ve applied and tested over the past 2+ decades, putting them into new-and-improved formats where you can get even better results.
Because at the end of the day, I want you to make BIG change in the shortest amount of time.
Why? Because I’m on a mission.
A mission to help you find (and LIVE) your mission.
And really . . . is there anything better than THAT?
Leave a comment below and tell me: what would you most like to learn? What results do you desire? What changes are you hungry to make in 2012? Where do you feel the most stuck?
. . . I’ll make sure to use your insights for future blog posts and newsletter articles!
