So, I decided to scrap my idea for today’s newsletter, and hold it until next week.
That’s because I got some DEEP, MEANINGFUL and TOUCHING email responses to last week’s post about death, and how we can use it to really LIVE.
So I want to clarify a few VERY important points.
Because without these distinctions, you could use last week’s post (or any post, by anyone) – in a way that’s super-duper unhelpful.
POINT 1: We’re all at different phases. Places. Stages of our growth and development.
POINT 2: Every phase is just as worthy and important as the next.
To think any differently (or less about yourself) because of the place you are in any given moment, is like saying all 3rd graders are big giant LOSERS — and only PhD students are worthy to exist.
Phooey…
Every 3rd grader will become a spiritual PhD student one day. And every PhD student was once a big giant “Loser” 3rd grader. (*wink*)
POINT 3: Some of you are in some deep phases of your development — where simply manifesting a hot car, powerful career, huge house, mega-moolah, smokin’ hot lover, or sweet-fittin’ skinny jeans just ain’t cuttin’ it anymore.
You’ve come to that stage of your development where you’ve been-there-done-that. And you long for something MORE.
You’ve chased the external world in the attempts to have it fill you up inside. Only to be let down. Big time.
You’ve drunk the collective Kool-Aide that bigger and better and more — will somehow make you feel whole and complete inside.
It won’t.
It’s not that chasing after creative pursuits, and fun manifestations, and decadent items is bad, wrong, or not good. Far from it.
. . . All those things are totally, utterly delightful!
But the ONLY way these things won’t bite you in the ass somewhere down the road is if you know your worthiness comes from WITHIN — and you approach those manifestations from an I-Know-My-Awesomeness-Already sort o’ place inside.
That is when doing or getting more “stuff” is like drizzling decadent icing on an already scrumptious gourmet cake.
So let this year’s motto be:
“BE THE F@CKING CAKE!!!!!!”
(Pardon my French.)
(And while we’re at it: pardon that nonsensical saying, too – for all of you stellar French folks out there..)
I digress . . .
STOP trying to slather your life with icing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pretty please. Just stop it . . .
Cuz come on: We all know what a big ol’ pile of icing looks like on a plate when there’s no kick-ass cake beneath it.
It no longer looks like icing.
It looks like POO.
And that’s how we all tend to feel after believing that life’s ICING will every bring a true, lasting, deep, meaningful, cakey-life.
It won’t.
It brings you POOP.
(Sorry, I pay with my 2 toddler-nieces a LOT – and poop is hands-down their favorite topic . . . )
So take last week’s “One Year to Live” challenge – and really dig deep within your heart to find the real meaning of life — for YOU.

Go manifest stuff if you want more STUFF! – That’s a powerful and important stage to strut your manifesting mojo.
Or go manifest presence, inner peace and self-love! — That’s a rockin’ stage too, which will take you deeper into the core of your Soulful Self.
Both are good. Equal. Spiritual.
It’s just a matter of understanding yourself, trusting where you’re at (with 0 apologies), and knowing what’s really right for you in any given moment.
(Screw what others think of your choices.)
For me, this year’s MAIN goal is:
TO FALL MADLY DEEPLY, RADICALLY IN LOVE WITH LIL’ OL’ MOI!!!!!!!!
Because I’ve lived enough to know: without that, nothing else matters.
I’ve made big bucks, experienced great love, had my own TV show, built a successful company, lived in amazing cities, and developed some pretty darn cool skills.
But much of that time I still had an inner void inside (that I didn’t even know was there).
And no matter how much I accomplished, did, bought, learned — NONE OF IT filled in that hole.
And nothing outside of ourselves ever can. (Not permanently.)
So if that’s where you’re at in your journey . . . Where you chased the “dreams”, careers, money, marriages, cars, jewels, status, etc. . . . And you’ve come to realize that you’re still HUNGRY. . .
. . . HUNGRY for something more. Richer. Deeper. More Soulful. . .
Then “WELCOME HOME, SISTAH!!!!!!!”
(Home to your own beautiful, perfect, worthy self.)
Many of us are being challenged to Awaken to a much deeper level of awareness. Truth. Love. Honesty.
Some of you are already facing BIG challenges: Cancer, Bankruptcy, Divorce, Depression, etc.
And when we hit those moments in life — when we’re no longer able to keep kidding ourselves about the bigger issue, the REAL problem, the True Longing — we finally wake up to LIFE.
That’s what I’ve been obsessed about over the past few years of deep personal healing, exploration and self-excavation.
It’s not to say that I don’t want to write, create, paint, teach, speak, travel, buy beautiful things, or do more stuff.
But I sure-as-shit know that it mean Nada. Squat. Nilch. Nuttin. If I don’t prioritize ME first.
For me, my Connection to the Divine is Key #1. Basking, drinking in, and embracing that higher Love is where everything begins, and ends in my books.
Next is my remembering, acknowledging and embracing that I AM an extension of that very same beautiful Divine Energy — so I can relax more and more into the ancient memory that I am good, whole, complete, beautiful and worthy . . .
Just because I AM.
Because I breath.
Because I’m here.
Nothing more is EVER required for you to be worthy of that High level of unconditionally loving adoration.
Ever.
So for those of you who in any way innocently interpreted last week’s post to mean that I’m encouraging you to ONLY just:
“GET OUT THERE AND TAKE MORE ACTION!!!!” . . .
Or to “CHECK OFF MORE STUFF ON YOUR TO-DO LIST!!!!!”
. . . I’m not.
Sure, doing these things many actually be your Golden Ticket to ride this year! They’re worthy, valid, and totally wonderful pursuits.
But don’t judge or compare yourself if there’s something else you’re desiring right about now.
Where you’re at is OK.
You’re OK.
Your desires are OK.
And you can NOT f#ck up this ride.
Everything is always moving toward the Light. Toward “Home”. Toward Source itself.
. . . So just keep doin’ you, Boo!!!!!!
And if you ever get snagged on any of the complex twists and turns of life and it’s many multitudes of (sometimes confusing, and often contradictory) soulful layers . . .You’re not alone. And I got your back.
Because as you go deeper into your Spiritual Evolution – it becomes a game of subtleties.
And what got you to one point, won’t get you to the next.
(What was good for you one year, might be toxic for you tomorrow.)
Yup. This journey is a cool, wild and crazy one, indeed.
So keep your chin up, Sweetness-of-All-Sweetnesses!
